"The Elephant of My Heart" is my story. 
I was a very sick nine-year-old when I was introduced to an elephant. 
This same elephant took me on a journey where I met all of my other animals. 
I have a snake, a dragonfly, and a phoenix, two of the phoenix's fleas, 
a black panther and a goldfish.
These animals gave me gifts of great beauty and power that helped me see my 
illness as nothing more than a walk in the park or for me a walk in a jungle!
